Kris did his due diligence, and found manufactures back east and in the midwest, to create prototypes. Like anyone, we hold close to our chest our knowledge of who is who, but suffice to say, we went through a long process of pricing, profiles, prototypes and figured out, that if we were to make flame retardant metal back strip brush, in the USA, that we would be maybe not first to market this, but surely a very early adopter. We talked to the major manufacturers of filament, and approached all four, asking THEM who their prefered manufacturers were?
One gave us a list of ten names, and we approached two of the best at handling our specialized compounds. Similarly, another gave us two names, and we approached them. Of forty major brush manufacturers, we approached four, had materially serious talks with three, and hired two. Two of the best.
